You will need active participation by everyone in the building, as well as a good understanding and carefully crafted decision making practices. To put all of these elements together, you will need Hawk Eye, which will take primary responsibility for managing, supervising and monitoring all repair and maintenance work.

What shape is your building in? How does it look, inside and outside, and how is it to live in? Are there any obvious, immediate repairs needed?
Do you practice preventive maintenance, including energy conservation and weatherisation, to avoid future repair problems?
Do you have an established maintenance and repair Contractor?
Does your repair and maintenance Contractor have a clearly defined written procedure for setting priorities and making needed repairs?
